The dress is in my size. Measurements: Above chest 34 inches, chest 36 inches, below chest 33 inches. The backside has elastic, so it will probably still fit you if your size is slightly different.
Comes with a belt, but you can wear it with or without. You can also tug the shoulder straps under the dress and wear it a different way. Enjoy!
Your dress comes with a phygital tag, which you can scan with your phone and it takes you to this site. Later you will be able to own the dress officially as a digital owner of the associated NFT and the phygital dress. Welcome to the future!
The dress is made of 100% bamboo satin. Avoid getting the dress wet as the colors may leak. Use dry wash only. Iron the dress with low heat from the backside. I have been wearing variations of this dress for over three years now. The first time I had this dress made was for the first time I acted – it was a short film with Nitish Pires and I needed a nice dress to wear.
After that, several copies have been made mostly because of necessity as I was looking for the right factory to produce my garments. This dress is my first production! I have done my best to make this dress the highest possible quality (with limited resources) and as planet friendly as possible. It took a long time to find the fabric that I wanted, and it was only after searching in Goa, Rajastan, Delhi, and Mumbai, I finally found a 100% bamboo satin, which is fully sustainable and good for both the planet and your skin.
The dress is produced in a small factory in Goa and I have tried my best to get the best quality standard that is possible here. Still, keep in mind that the dresses might slightly vary from one to the next. The first production is very exclusive and only a few dresses are available.
The fabric is expensive, which increases the price of this dress. This is kind of a test collection, which is why the profit margin is low. I would love to hear your views about the dress and the fabric, so that I can also make the best possible decisions when producing this dress on a larger scale as well as making other productions.
